Linnea Sieh is a Licensed Professional Counselor through the state of Michigan. She received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Oakland University. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and a member of the Michigan Counseling association.
Linnea has worked in various types of mental health practices, including community mental health and in private practice settings. Her background and experience have prepared her to work with clients of all ages, including children starting at age 4, adolescents, and adults. She has experience working with those suffering from depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, dual diagnosis clients, and those experiencing substance use concerns. She has experience leading groups for teens practicing self-harm behaviors, as well as family groups for conflict resolution. She also enjoys working with children and adults of all ability levels. Her counseling style is person-centered and strength based and includes expressive arts, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral Counseling, and mindfulness techniques. Her goal for counseling is to work collaboratively with clients to discover new ways to cope with problems and improve the quality of life for individuals seeking help.
