    Ashley is a therapist-in-training and is currently working towards graduating with a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University. Ashley has experienced the transformative power of therapy firsthand and is now keen to pay it forward by guiding others through their struggles. Ashley wishes to work with adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns. Ashley has a special interest and passion for working with those who experience chronic pain (most specifically, pelvic pain) and intends to become a Certified Sex Therapist.

    Ashley believes that clients are the true experts of their own lives. Her role is to learn from you and guide you through life’s transitions and challenges. Ashley’s goal is to meet you where you are while also challenging you when necessary to foster healing and growth. As a Mental Health Counseling intern, Ashley have gained valuable experience in areas such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship issues. Ashley’s counseling approach primarily utilizes person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy styles, but Ashley believes in a flexible, integrative framework tailored to each client’s unique needs and circumstances. Ashley is in a state of constant evolution herself, as a human and a therapist, and she looks forward to walking with you on your own evolutionary journey.
