Kali holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Oakland University. She received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University. She is also a member of the American Counseling Association.
She has the privilege of working with adults in an individual, group, and/or couples setting. Holding the belief that having respect and an understanding of the challenges that each person has encountered is essential to creating and maintaining a safe and trusted environment. She has an integrative approach to the counseling process with the comfortability of implementing different treatment options that are unique to her patient(s). Utilizing skills from person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, and existential therapy; her goal is to help her patients reach their full potential while challenging their negative thoughts and beliefs that they are encountering. As your therapist, she believes that you have the solution to your dilemmas all within yourself and she is here to help highlight your strengths while providing support, encouragement, and acceptance.
She enjoys working with a variety of patients, especially those struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem/body image issues, eating disorders, relationship issues, trauma, and grief-and-loss. She strives to make this counseling journey safe, fun, supportive, and positive for you.
