    Linda Alyashae received her Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Wayne State University and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from University of Windsor. Linda is a Temporary Limited Licensed psychologist (TLLP) working towards becoming a Limited Licensed Psychologist (LLP).

    For four years prior to receiving her degree in Counseling Psychology, Linda worked with adults who have developmental and intellectual disabilities as well as mental health issues. For two and a half years she also worked with Iraqi refugees who fled Iraq due to war or persecution. She is fluent in both Arabic and Chaldean (Neo-Aramaic). She has a history of treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, grief/loss, low self-esteem, self-harming, relationship issues, learning disabilities, survivors of abuse, and survivors of war.

    Linda has a passion to help others live a better life and guide them through their journey of self-exploration and change. She believes in providing a safe place for clients to be, to experience unconditional acceptance and genuineness. She believes in the importance of using different therapeutic techniques depending on client’s needs and the situation. Linda’s counseling techniques include person-centered, psychodynamic, existential therapy, humanistic therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
