Amy E Conniff
MA, LPC, NCC
Amy Conniff completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Oakland University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is currently a member of the American Counseling Association and is a Nationally Board Certified Counselor.
Prior to pursuing her career in counseling, Amy’s experience includes operating in case management within community mental health for three years. She also worked with individuals and families as a housing resource specialist for several years within Oakland and Macomb Counties.
While Amy incorporates different therapeutic interventions based on the client’s needs, her general approach to counseling is founded within Humanistic and Person-Centered Therapy. She infuses strategies associated with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused techniques with her compassion and warmth to help clients work towards wellness and positive change from the inside out. For Amy, she believes every person is unique and deserves to be heard. At All Things Possible Wellness Center, Amy’s clients will be able to process their thoughts, express their feelings as well as explore whatever challenges they are facing without fear of being judged or criticized.
Amy enjoys working with a variety of clients, including but not limited to those who are struggling with concerns related to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stress management, self-acceptance, grief and loss as well as adjustment concerns. Amy recently became a Basic Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) practitioner and is excited to advance her training so that she can continue to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals.
