Christina Felcyn

Tina Felcyn is a Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over a decade of experience in the field of mental health. She holds a Master of Counseling degree from Oakland University, a Master of Science degree in Student Affairs & Higher Education from Indiana State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from Grand Valley State University. Additionally, Tina has advanced specialization certification in Infant, Child, and Adolescent Counseling, which reflects her deep expertise in working with young populations.
Tina supports clients of all ages, from children and adolescents to adults and families. She has experience treating a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, infertility, pregnancy and postpartum, self-harm, grief, trauma, anger management, parenting challenges, family conflict, marital and premarital issues, life transitions and behavioral issues. Her experience extends also to providing pre-marital counseling for Christian faith marriages and annulment counseling.
Tina works primarily through talk therapy in a casual, client-centered environment, avoiding prescriptive “homework” assignments. Instead, she focuses on helping clients incorporate desired changes into their daily lives in a practical, achievable way. As a Christian, Tina encourages the integration of faith and spirituality in the healing process, while remaining open to clients of all backgrounds and beliefs.
In addition to her counseling work, Tina has over 25 years of experience in higher education, providing guidance on the FAFSA process, college applications, and career exploration. Tina is committed to supporting individuals and families across different life stages.
Tina also offers clinical supervision; supporting the development of fellow counselors in the field.
