    Michelle earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Wayne State University and her Master of Social Work degree from University of Michigan. Michelle is a fully licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselor. She is honored to be the Clinical Supervisor of Substance Use Disorder Services at ATPWC. She has experience working in family reunification and has been working as a therapist since 2015.

    Michelle has experience in working with people with a variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, stress difficulties, family relationship struggles, physical health issues and substance use. She enjoys working with individuals to help them learn the skills necessary for managing life in healthy and balanced ways. Michelle strives to provide clients with a person-centered approach that is free of judgements.

    Michelle uses a variety of methods to help clients that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focused and Motivational Interviewing. She also pulls skills from other modalities as needed to meet client need. Michelle is also trained to perform Substance Use Evaluations.
