    Rachel earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2017 and her Master of Social Work degree in 2019 from Saginaw Valley State University. She is a fully licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Rachel has experience providing individualized services over a range of treatment settings.

    Rachel is a Master Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) Practitioner. ART is a brain-based and evidence-based therapy that is proven to be highly effective in treating trauma, depression, grief, phobias, anxiety, OCD, and addiction.     Rachel has familiarity working with individuals with a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress from significant life changes, and substance use. While she especially enjoys working with people experiencing co-occurring concerns and individuals who have been impacted by trauma, Rachel looks forward to meeting with anyone looking to make positive changes in their lives.  

    Rachel strives to create a safe environment where people can feel comfortable and affirmed as they embark on their journey of personal growth. Rachel is familiar with and incorporates multiple methods into her practice to best meet the needs of the individuals she serves. She uses a variety of counseling techniques including Accelerated Resolution Therapy, person-centered and strengths-based therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Rachel is familiar with working with adults and adolescents ages 13 and up and looks forward to discussing how she can best serve you.
