    Graduate Clinical Intern

    Sara is a counselor-in-training currently earning her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Oakland University, where she also completed her bachelor’s in Psychology. 

    Sara has a passion for working with adults, children, and adolescents. She is committed to creating a space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. Her approach to therapy is rooted in client-centered and cognitive behavioral techniques, while also utilizing an integrative approach, drawing from a variety of methods to meet each person’s unique needs. 

    Sara believes that every individual already holds the strength and wisdom they need within themselves. Her role is to walk alongside her clients; supporting, guiding, and empowering them as they discover those strengths and move toward healing and personal growth. She is here not to “fix,” but to listen deeply, encourage self-trust, and honor each client’s journey. With warmth, authenticity, and compassion, Sara is dedicated to helping clients reconnect with themselves and create meaningful change in their lives.
