    Sarah Kost-Cox received her Bachelor of science in design and merchandising from Wayne State University and her Masters of Art in Counseling from Oakland University. In addition to being a licensed practicing counselor, she also holds a School Counseling license, as well as being a Nationally Certified Counselor. Sarah has been working as a school counselor since 2013 and is a member of the American School Counseling Association and Michigan School Counseling Association. She holds additional certifications in grief and loss and law and ethics.

    Sarah truly believes in Cura Peronalis, care of the whole person. Knowing that all people are unique and have different needs, Sarah likes to meet clients where they are at in life, and work with a variety of techniques including, but not limited to, choice theory, CBT, solution focused, and mindfulness. Sarah works well with children, adolescents, and adults, specializing in school aged clients. She has helped clients with varying social and emotional concerns, and worked as a partner to help clients lead more rewarding and fulfilling life experiences.
