  • Tiffany Jeffers

    MA, LLC

Tiffany has a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University. She received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Alma College. She currently is a Limited License Counselor (LLC) and is working towards her Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). As an intern, she worked in a partial outpatient hospitalization crisis program where the setting was group-based therapy (children, adolescents, and adults). She has worked with children and adolescents who have autism from a year and a half in an Applied Behavior Analysis setting. She has worked for a community mental health setting focusing on infant mental health and children who have severe emotional disorders in Macomb County.

She has an integrative approach to the counseling process with no judgement and a safe space to provide comfortability to her client(s). She likes to meet her client(s) where they are at, while her client(s) guide her through their journey. She wants to create a space that allows her client(s) to facilitate their own goals and values. The journey may get tough along the way when facing emotions or obstacles, and sometimes it’s going to be uncomfortable, but her goal is to utilize the skills from different theoretical approaches such as person-centered, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral, emotionally focused and play therapy to process and watch her client(s) grow. As your clinician, she believes that you can navigate your obstacles with the guidance and tools to meet your goals in a secure and supportive environment.

Tiffany enjoys working with a variety of clients, especially those who have anxiety, depression, grief-and-loss, family/relationship issues, stress, trauma, and self-esteem. She strives to make this counseling journey safe, supportive, genuine, and fun. She is looking forward to being a part of your journey!
