Ashley Kraut pursued her graduate degree at Oakland University, and received a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling. Ashley is a member of the American Counseling Association and is a Nationally Board Certified Counselor. During the seven years prior to receiving her degree in counseling, Ashley worked with children who have developmental disabilities, assisting in the children’s emotional and intellectual growth. After receiving her license in counseling in 2015, Ashley has worked with adults and children in both in-patient and outpatient settings.

Ashley has a history of treating depression, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, self-harming, adjustment concerns, life transitions, relationship issues, anger management, trauma, and has experience in crisis situations. Ashley typically utilizes cognitive behavior therapy, person centered therapy, and solution focused treatment approaches during sessions. However, treatment approaches vary according to each client’s individual needs. Ashley also believes in utilizing the healing that can be derived from an individual’s faith when requested. Ashley has been married for 12 years, has three children, and one cat. Ashley strives to create a safe, accepting, and warm environment for clients to embrace their therapeutic journey towards self-exploration, insight, strength, and healing.
