Hayley earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University after completing her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Grand Valley State University. She brings nearly a decade of experience working in childcare and is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, parents, families, and individuals through a wide range of challenges.
Her counseling style is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s individual needs. Hayley draws on a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and incorporates insight-oriented and strengths-based practices to help clients deepen their self-awareness and develop practical tools for growth. When working with children, she also integrates play-based and art-informed techniques to support emotional expression, engagement, and skill-building.
Hayley views the therapeutic relationship as the foundation of healing. She strives to create a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, gain new perspectives, and build on their strengths to create meaningful and lasting change.
